America’s Invasion in IraqThe invasion of America in Iraq was totally a wrong decision and it was also constitutionally illegitimate. According to near about 40% Americans, it was just a wrong decision to start a war in Iraq. I am conducting this post after analyzing the perspective of both sides, the critics and supporters. According to supporters, Iraq challenged the security of America and President Bush allowed invasion after the permission of Congress that is legitimate according to US law. But if we take in boarder prospect then it was totally a wrong and illegitimate decision because according to international law any country couldn’t make any invasion unless or until the second country has attacked on it. Similarly, America also does not find any chemical weapons or other nuclear war equipments here as well that was the core reason of this war. However, Americans paid a big price of this war in the form of weak economy. It does not mean I am blaming the military establishment or government of US because in my opinion, all of us were equally answerable for this unjust war. My uncle, who works as defense analyst at Gulfport Battalion Center of Mississippi, told that Iraq war affected negatively to US economy and America lost many brave soldiers as well in this unnecessary war. Similarly, the pop of Church of the Good Shepherd on Santa Monica Boulevard said, "This war in Iraq is not a just war and, thus, it is a sin”. Posted by Maryetta Brighter on 16 March 2016, 11:34 AM
